Dr. Mike Shaw is an internationally recognized astrophotographer, teacher, and the author of “Creative Nightscapes and Time-Lapses,” (2018) and “The Complete Guide to Landscape Astrophotography,” (2017). He is currently working on his third book, “The Beginner’s Guide to Astrophotography (2023).” In addition to his photography workshops and webinars, he offers interactive online lessons for Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, and helped create the video tutorials for the Planit Pro app. He taught Night Photography and Time-Lapses in the Bryan Peterson School of Photography for five years, led an interactive Nightscapes Star Party Live! weekly on Slooh.com for two years, and taught Night Photography and Photoshop classes at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum for four years.
